Important Note:

The Royal City Durga Puja (RCDP) is a socio-cultural initiative, organized under ICESSCO, a provincially registered not-for-profit organization.

RCDP is a volunteer-driven community program that celebrates cultural heritage and fosters inclusivity through Durga Puja, a festival recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Our aim is to bring people together through tradition, shared values, and meaningful community engagement.

Inclusions:

RCDP membership represents participation as a host and organizer of the community event, rather than as a guest. Members collectively contribute to making the event possible for the wider community.

Membership Contribution Supports:

  1. Organizing the annual Durga Puja celebration (venue, setup, rituals, and cultural programs)

  2. Food offerings
    (Complimentary lunch (Bhog/Prasad) is served to all visitors, including members, during Durga Puja as part of our open community celebration.)

  3. Organizational and operational expenses, including tax compliance, banking, digital platforms, communication, general administrative costs etc.

Membership Contribution Includes:

  1. ‘Members-only’ complimentary meals on one or two designated days during Durga Puja
    (Details will be shared during the pre-Durga Puja members’ meeting.)

  2. Opportunities to participate in all cultural programs organized by RCDP

  3. Access to RCDP community events throughout the year (paid events, where applicable)​

 

***For 2026, we are hoping to host Friday and Saturday dinners (October 23rd and 24th) during Durga Puja, along with a Vijaya Sammilani Celebration for our member families (2 adults and 2 children below 18).

These plans depend on the support of our members, community, and sponsors, and we will share final details as they are confirmed.

  • Membership does not provide financial returns, ownership, or rights over organizational assets.

  • Guaranteed meals on all event days or unlimited food service or any event-specific paid food items (if any, will be communicated separately)

  • Reserved seating, priority access, or exclusive privileges

Membership contributions are used solely to support the organization and execution of Durga Puja, along with essential operational and administrative expenses.
